my recent trip to the corbett area was a birders' delight.
i saw (and photographed a few) over 50 different types, many from the confines of the jungle safari jeep and at a distance. a naturalist with very keen spotting skills accompanied us.
one part of the trip was the standard jungle safari, and the other was in a remote buffer jungle area.
if you fancy doing a 30 to 40-minute walk across an army built suspended bridge and on a narrow uphill dirt path followed by a 10-minute jeep ride on a slightly wider dirt road to end it with a pulley raft across a narrow but deep stretch of river to reach another birders haven with no phone signal, this eco lodge is the place for you.
visiting hikers have seen tigers crossing the river at 300 to 400 metres, maybe less (i have watched the video).
