this was a photo clicked by the camera trap set at the cocoon camp at tadoba wildlife reserve, where we spent one night.

this camp is adjacent to the forest (buffer zone) and this tiger regularly visits here. we missed seeing this tiger by minutes as we were getting ready to leave for the morning safari.

the tiger had been spotted and the caretaker was shouting out to us to come look. the shouting made the tiger look backwards at the source of the shouting.

in all it was a novel experience spending the night here with the stars, fireflies and jungle sounds for company!

bursting at the seams;

7 islands it used to be;

pulsating maximum city;

some call it ugly;

it used to be home to me.
